Follow the steps below to set up Outlook Express 5.0 for Macintosh to send and receive email.

How to Set Up Outlook Express 5.0 for Macintosh to Send and Receive Email
  1. You will need the email server settings for your domain (Pioneer Wireless.net, ) in order to complete this walkthrough.
  2. Open Outlook Express.

  3. Select I already have an Internet e-mail account, but I have never used that account on this computer; or I have used another program but I don't want to import anything from that program.

  4. Click the Right Arrow button.
  5. In the Display Name field, type your name.

  6. Click the Right Arrow button.
  7. In the E-mail address field, type your full Pioneer Wireless email address (e.g., johndoe@pioneerwireless.net).

  8. Click the Right Arrow button.
  9. Click the arrow box on the My incoming mail server is a(n) pop-up list and choose POP.
  10. In the Incoming mail (POP, IMAP) server field, type your Incoming mail server (POP) (as determined during step 1 of this walkthrough).
  11. In the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) server field, type mail.pioneerwireless.net.

  12. Click the Right Arrow button.
  13. In the Account ID field, type your full Pioneer Wireless email address (e.g., johndoe@pioneerwireless.net).
  14. In the Password field, type your email password.

    Note: Your password is case sensitive! Make sure CAPS LOCK is off when typing it.

  15. Click the Right Arrow button.
  16. In the Account name field, type your full Pioneer Wireless email address (e.g., johndoe@pioneerwireless.net).
  17. Click the Finish button.
