Follow the steps below to set up Netscape 6 for Macintosh to send and receive email.
How to Set Up Netscape 6 for Macintosh to Send and Receive Email
  1. You will need your email server settings to set up your email program. P
  2. Open Netscape 6.

  3. From the Tasks menu, choose Mail.

  4. From the Edit menu, choose Mail/News Account Settings.

  5. Click the New button.

  6. Select ISP or email provider.
  7. Click the Next button.

  8. In the Your Name field, type your name.
  9. In the Email Address field, type your full Pioneer Wireless email address (e.g., johndoe@pioneerwireless.net).
  10. Click the Next button.

  11. Click the arrow box on the Server Type pop-up list and choose POP Mail Server.
  12. In the Server Name field, type your Incoming mail server (POP) (as determined during step 1 of this walkthrough).
  13. Click the Next button.

  14. In the User Name field, type your full Pioneer Wireless email address (e.g., johndoe@pioneerwireless.net).
  15. Click the Next button.

  16. In the Account Name field, type your full Pioneer Wireless email address (e.g., johndoe@pioneerwireless.net).
  17. Click the Next button.

  18. Click the Finish button.

  19. Select Outgoing (SMTP) Server in the list.
  20. In the Server Name field, type mail.pioneerwireless.net.
  21. Check the box next to Use name and password.
  22. In the User Name field, type your full Pioneer Wireless email address (e.g., johndoe@pioneerwireless.net).
  23. Click the OK button.

    Note: When you first send an email, a window asking for your password will appear. Type your email password and click OK to continue.
