Follow the steps below to set up Entourage 2001 for Macintosh to send and receive email.
How to Set Up Entourage 2001 for Macintosh to Send and Receive Email
  1. You will need your email server settings to set up your email program.
  2. Open Microsoft Entourage 2001.
  3. Click the Configure account manually button.

  4. Click the OK button.

  5. In the Account name field, type Pioneer Wireless. (Or your username if you have multiple accounts).
  6. In the Name field, type your name.
  7. In the E-mail address field, type your full Pioneer Wireless email address (e.g., johndoe@pioneerwireless.net).
  8. In the Account ID field, type your full Pioneer Wireless email address (e.g., johndoe@pioneerwireless.net).
  9. In the POP Server field, type your Incoming mail server (POP) (as determined during step 1 of this walkthrough).
  10. Check the box next to Save password.
  11. In the Password field, type your email password.

    Note: Your password is case sensitive! Make sure CAPS LOCK is off when typing it.

  12. In the SMTP server field, type mail.pioneerwireless.net
  13. Click the Click here for advanced sending options button.

  14. Check the box next to SMTP server requires authentication.
  15. Select Log on using.
  16. In the Account ID field, type your full Pioneer Wireless email address (e.g., johndoe@pioneerwireless.net).
  17. In the Password field, type your password.
  18. Check the box next to Save password.
  19. Close the Advanced sending options window.

  20. Click the OK button.
